Shipper's Undertaking for Correct Declaration of Goods as per GCAA Guidelines
Incorrect declaration of goods can present significant risks to health, safety, property, and the environment. The Shipper will be held fully responsible for any damage, loss of life or property, or any impact on Civil Aviation Safety and Security resulting from the discovery of inaccurate declarations in any cargo consignment originating from the UAE.
REGULATORY CONDITIONS:
This undertaking must be completed by the Shipper, who must have full knowledge of the
1. The nature of the goods included in the cargo consignment.
2. It is the responsibility of the Freight Forwarder and Cargo Agent;

To retain and ensure completion of the undertaking for UAE-originating cargo,

To keep a hard or electronic copy of the completed undertaking on file for at least 12 months and ensure it is accessible upon request by the GCAA.

To keep a copy of the undertaking during the cargo consignment tendering process for acceptance, in accordance with Subsection 3.11.1 of CAR Part VI.
