From January to October 2024, Dubai real estate has set a new benchmark, achieving total sales of AED 435.6bn ($118.6bn) through 150,651 transactions. This eclipses last year’s record of AED 409.8bn ($111.6bn) from 132,628 sales! With an average monthly sales of AED 43.56bn ($11.9bn) this year, the total sales for 2024 are on track to soar past the AED 500bn ($136.1bn) milestone.

This surge highlights Dubai’s incredible appeal to both local and international investors, and the numbers speak for themselves:

October 2024 Highlights:
- Record AED 61.1bn ($16.6bn) from 20,461 transactions - a 798% increase over October 2020.
- Villa Sales: 3,830 transactions worth AED 20.5bn ($5.6bn) - up 102% from October 2023.
- Apartment Sales: AED 28.1bn ($7.7bn) across 15,662 units - up 67.2% in volume from last year.

Aldar JV with Expo City Dubai plans $480mn investment

and City have established a 50:50 joint venture to develop and own a major mixed-use development that will become the core element of Dubai's new master plan.

This will comprise a six-building development with residential, office, and retail units. The area is located close to Al Maktoum International Airport, where all aviation operations of Dubai will shift in the future, and the Dubai Exhibition Centre, and well-connected to the city and beyond by major highways and a dedicated metro station.

The JV will deliver and own the mixed-use development, which has a gross development value of more than AED 1.75 billion ($480 million). It will have a combined gross floor area of 103,000 square meters, and once completed, Aldar will be responsible for asset management.
