🌅 Ever dreamed of gliding past Dubai’s skyline, wind in your hair, watching the sun melt into the sea? I just had the most magical 3-hour yacht ride and I can’t wait to share it with you.
✨ Here’s a peek behind the scenes:
I’ve lived in Dubai for years, often staring out at yachts gliding past from JBR and thinking: “One day, I’ll be on one of those.” Finally, I made it happen — and wow, was it everything I hoped for.
We chose a 55 ft private yacht (comfortable for ~10 people) and booked the late afternoon to catch both daylight and sunset. The booking process was super easy via WhatsApp — they sent me all the details: yacht name, captain’s number, route, what’s included (drinks, towels, music, etc.).
🚤 The ride was unforgettable.
As we left the marina, Dubai’s towers reflected like paintings on the water.
We passed Bluewaters and Ain Dubai first — seeing the observation wheel from the sea gave me a new appreciation for how grand it really is.
Then Jumeirah Beach, and finally… Burj Al Arab. The captain slowed so we could snap photos with that iconic silhouette at sunset.
My favorite moment: the sky faded from orange to pink and purple, the sea glowed, and the whole world felt still.
Onboard, everything was comfy — cushioned seating, a little cabin, clean restrooms. We brought our own snacks, but they provided cold drinks and helped us set up our playlist. The crew was so kind, helping us take photos and making sure we were enjoying every moment.
When we returned, Dubai Marina had transformed — city lights dancing off the water. It was the perfect end to an incredible day.
💡 A few tips if you’re planning this yourself:
Book early — sunset slots go fast
Aim for late afternoon to evening — that golden hour is unbeatable
Bring sunscreen, sunglasses & a hat
Charge your camera (you’ll take a lot of photos)
Ask about possible routes — some tours go around Palm, Atlantis, etc.
Respect the crew’s safety instructions
💰 Was it worth it? Absolutely. We split the cost among six people (around AED 200 each for 3 hours). For the experience, the memories, the views — it felt priceless.
If you live here or are visiting Dubai and haven’t tried a yacht tour yet — do it. It’s not just a luxury: it’s a moment to pause, breathe, and see your city from a whole new angle.

I have been living in Dubai for the last 15 years, and I can honestly say that this city never stops amazing me. Every corner has something special — from
