A SMALL DREAM TODAY CAN BECOME A BIG REALITY TOMORROW. ❤️

Today was such a beautiful and special moment at Nanji Farms. One of our students was gifted a female weaner pig a promise we made during their educational farm tour, and today, we were privileged to fulfil it. 🙏🏾please help me congratulate our future big pig farmer 🙏🏾

At Nanji Farms…we love seeing young people become curious about farming, dream about the future, and believe that they too can build something of their own one day.

This moment was especially meaningful to me because it reminded me of the little girl I once was. I used to dream about one day owning and running a farm of my own. It was just a dream in my heart but today…by God’s grace, I am living that dream. 🙏🏽

And that is why seeing children today talk about their dreams, wanting to become farmers, leaders, CEOs and entrepreneurs makes my heart so happy. Because I know firsthand that the dreams of a child should never be underestimated.

Parents and guardians, let’s continue to invest in our children. ❤️
Encourage their curiosity.
Support their talents.
Expose them to different opportunities.
Let them dream BIG.

Because the child you are nurturing today could very well become the CEO, farmer, scientist, entrepreneur or leader of tomorrow. 🙏🏾

Today…we are proud to support one of our amazing young future farmers with a female weaner, with the hope that this little pig will multiply and become the beginning of a thriving piggery and one day, perhaps, a whole farm of their own.

We love to see it! 🥹❤️
A seed has been planted today. We can’t wait to see what it grows into tomorrow.

PASSION + COMMITMENT + SYSTEMS = GROWTH

One thing farming has taught me as the CEO of Nanji Farms is that having a busy life should not mean giving up on the things you are passionate about.

From Monday to Friday, I spend most of my time in the corporate space, but that doesn’t mean I switch off from the farm. Even during my breaks and lunch hour, I make time to check in with the farm team, follow up on the work that was assigned, find out what has been done, what is still pending and where I may need to step in.

Then on weekends….I make sure I get to the farm physically. There’s just something different about being there, seeing the progress, checking things for yourself and interacting with the team.

But let’s be honest….you can’t always be everywhere at the same time.

That’s why I’ve come to appreciate the importance of having systems in place.

Your business shouldn’t stop simply because you are not physically there. You need people who understand their responsibilities, proper record keeping, accountability, regular follow-ups and a system that allows you to know what is happening even when you’re away.

For me….learning how to manage Nanji Farms while also having a corporate career has taught me that being away doesn’t mean being disconnected.

You may not be physically present every day, but your leadership, direction, monitoring and vision can still be present.

So….to everyone working a 9–5 while building a farm….a business, a family business or pursuing something you genuinely love don’t give up just because you don’t have all the time in the world.

Make the time you have count.

Passion gets you started.
Commitment keeps you going.
Systems make growth possible.

It all starts with knowing what you want being intentional about it and putting structures in place that can help you keep moving forward.
