𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲?
Ridemate Zambia
Are you planning an intercity trip soon? There’s a new Zambian platform worth checking out. 🇿🇲

𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 is a digital intercity carpooling and parcel delivery platform designed to connect private drivers traveling between towns with passengers and package senders heading in the same direction.

With Ridemate, you can:
🚘 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽 if you’re already planning to travel
🔎 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 going your route
💬 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 fares with drivers
📦 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗹𝘀 with drivers accepting deliveries
🔔 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 when you don’t find a suitable trip yet, and we will send you a notification once the trip becomes available.

Drivers can post their trips for free, while passengers can explore available trips before deciding to connect.

It’s designed especially for intercity and longer-distance travel — helping people find others who are already going their way.

𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗿;
Ridemate does not collect fares on behalf of drivers. Our app simply acts as a connecting bridge—helping passengers find drivers heading the same direction and facilitating safe matches. Fares are handled directly between the traveler and the driver.

🛡️ 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀
Ridemate is also built with safety and accountability in mind, including:

✅ 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗗 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱

Not sure which route to take?

𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 gives drivers the flexibility to 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 before deciding.

Simply go to 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀, filter the available requests by the route you’re considering, and see how many passengers are looking to travel in that direction.

You can then offer available seats directly to matching passengers and 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱.

This allows drivers to make informed route choices and 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿, rather than posting a trip and waiting for passengers to find it.

“𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑡𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑡𝑒?”

We’ve been getting many questions about whether Ridemate supports specific routes, so here’s the answer. 👇

𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗮

Ridemate is not a bus company with fixed routes or a fleet of vehicles stationed around the country.

Instead, Ridemate connects private drivers with passengers who are travelling in the same direction.

For example, if you are driving:

📍 𝗟𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗮 → 𝗡𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗮
📍 𝗟𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗮 → 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲
📍 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗲𝗹𝘁 → 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗲
📍 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝘄𝗲 → 𝗟𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗮
📍 𝗡𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗮 → 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲
📍 𝗢𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲…

You can post your trip on Ridemate if you're intending on making that journey and have available seats.

🚘 𝗦𝗼, 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲?
It depends on whether a driver has posted a trip for that route.

𝑹𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒂 𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒗𝒆𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝒅𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝒁𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒊𝒂, 𝒔𝒐 𝒘𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒔𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒏 𝒂 𝒗𝒆𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒆.

Our trips come from real people who are already travelling and choose to list their journey on the platform.

🔔 What if I search and don't find my route?

Don't worry!

You can save your search for the route you're looking for.

When a matching trip becomes available, Ridemate can alert you, so you don't have to keep checking manually.

And this is where the Ridemate community comes in...

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞.

If you're already driving from Lusaka to Ndola with 3 or 4 empty seats, why not list your trip?

And if you're a passenger looking for a ride, search for your route and connect with someone already going your way.

That's the idea behind Ridemate.

𝐖𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲. 𝐖𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.

🚗 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀: Post your trips.
🧳 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀: Search for your destination.
🔔 𝗖𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽? Save your search and get alerted when one becomes available.
