Hi ladies and gents ! happy farmer's day to you.

What if 12 small farmers came together with one goal, to make drip irrigation affordable for everyone? Every month, each member contributes an agreed amount. With that fund, the group installs one lima of drip irrigation for Farmer 1. Next month, they do the same for Farmer 2. Month after month, lima after lima, until every farmer has a fully installed system. Together, 1 or 2 limas at a time, everyone wins. Would you join a group like this if it meant owning your own one lima drip system within a year?
let us know , if interested we can create the WhatsApp group and let's see if we can come up with a better community group project.

Together we can achieve.

β˜•A coffee sector that is export-ready, traceable and prepared for the demands of global markets 🌍

As international markets introduce new requirements such as the European Union Deforestation-free Regulation (EUDR), Zambia's coffee sector is strengthening its readiness through collaboration and continuous learning.

On 15 July 2026, the Sustainable Agriculture for Forest Ecosystems (SAFE) Project, together with the Africa Fine Coffee Association (AFCA), hosted a follow-up dialogue on the EUDR. Building on an earlier orientation workshop, the session brought together government, the private sector and coffee industry stakeholders to better understand what the regulation means for producers, exporters and smallholder farmers.

A key highlight is the EUDR Learning Community for Africa, a platform that enables stakeholders to share experiences, exchange practical solutions and strengthen compliance across Africa's coffee sector. 🀝

"Coffee is a significant sector for Zambia with real export potential. Compliance and continuous learning are key to remaining competitive in international markets," said Dr. Simon Ng'ona, Director of Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry.

The SAFE Project is co-financed by the European Union Commission, the Netherlands' Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
