Sorry for being so quiet lately 😅🌧️
Tsitsikamma and the surrounding areas were hit by a big storm that left us with no power and very poor signal. Mother Nature definitely kept us on our toes! ⚡🌿
Thank you for your patience, understanding and support while we were a little “off the grid.”

Closed Tomorrow – Severe Weather Warning
In light of the severe storm expected tomorrow, bringing heavy rain, strong winds, and potential flooding, we have made the decision to close the sanctuary for the day.
As our entrance road runs close to the river, access may become unsafe. The safety of our visitors, team, and animals remains our top priority.
We look forward to welcoming you back the following day. Thank you for your understanding 🌿
