We are extremely pleased and excited to have joined the larger space of waste management and recycling by partnering with Urban Surfer. Urban surfer has invested heavily over the last couple of years in collection of Data, creating and managing a system of waste pickers and supporting the waste pickers by providing sustainable equipment, trollies, training, PPE and many other items. This is an effort to assist waste pickers to optimize their picking of waste and also giving them the right tools and capacity to do so safely and efficiently.
As RRR Rams Holdings, we are excited to play our part in supporting this communities of informal waste picker in their initiatives to recycle waste that would have otherwise ended up in the landfills, city streets and drains and turn that into a sustainable income in the process to better their lives. Several large companies have joined the fight to save our environment (Land and Water) by sponsoring Urban Surfer with Trollies, Bags, PPE, equipment and many more.
With our relationship and network of sustainable and compliant waste recyclers, we have created a system and process where we will recycle and consolidate as much waste that these environmental hero’s have worked so hard to divert into meaningful earnings and sustainable work for them.
It goes without saying that the work of these waste pickers will play an integral part now and, in the future, to develop a sustainable re-use, reduce, recycle system where no recyclable waste ends up in any of our waters, drains, streets and best of all landfills. Yes, you heard it right, we will truly experience a 0% waste to landfill from domestic consumption of our favourite and most iconic brands.
