The idea behind Batho Bantsho Truck Stokvel is to buy our trucks using bank finance instead of the traditional stokvel approach of raising the whole amount required to buy a truck cash; this way we limit our exposure and create an opportunity to generate more profits with minimal contributions. We aim to revolutionize the way stokvels build wealth in the future through the use of institutionalized finance. Capital raised through the stokvel goes towards installment finance of the truck and operations costs for a period of 12 months even when the truck is generating income. This is to allow the company to be able to meet its operations requirements even when it is still waiting for payments from clients.
