The Coal Business Unit’s three-day Strategy Session concluded today in Durban, bringing together leaders and teams to align on priorities, strengthen collaboration and chart a clear path towards achieving the year’s objectives.

As Transnet Freight Rail advances its year-on-year tonnage ambitions, focused planning and disciplined ex*****on remain critical to driving operational excellence, sustainable growth and improved performance. The session provided a valuable platform to develop actionable plans that will support the achievement of business targets and unlock greater value across the organisation.

As this year marks the Coal Line’s 50th Anniversary, the session also honoured the dedicated employees whose commitment, resilience and expertise have been instrumental in building its legacy.
