The company Arnis Authority used regular post to ship a customer in Rwanda an order of Filipino Arnis. However, after 1 month the shipment was not delivered and was determined to be lost. So Arnis Authority shipped a replacement order using Mahalio.com and the order was successfully delivered within a few days! The order was carried by a Mahalio traveler from San Francisco to Entebbe, Uganda. The package was then transferred within the Mahalio network between locals Robert and George and traveled from Entebbe to Kigali, Rwanda and the order was delivered within 5 days!

Willis journeyed to the southwestern town of Mbarara in Uganda as part of an academic research trip with Saint Mary's College of California. He flew 36 hours from San Francisco, California, US to Entebbe, Uganda. Then traveled another 255 kilometers by road to Mbarara, Uganda to visit the Holy Innocence Children's Hospital. Through the Mahalio network he brought equipment for the operation of the hospital. Equally as important he connected with people to help him with this research including Robert Atwooki, a local in Mbarara, giving him deeper insight and a rich partnership to help him with this research.

As part of a philanthropic trip, Matthew traveled to the Dominican Republic to deliver donated soccer cleats and equipment. Mahalio donated some of the soccer cleats equipment and also paid Matthew for carrying and successfully delivering the gear.

Genevieve needed a vacation from the hustle and bustle in San Francisco, California. So she took a trip to Manila, Philippines to escape to the tropical island breeze of the Philippines. She also accepted and delivered a Mahalio package for Arnis Authority, a business based in California. She got paid and made a new friend!

In late October 2017, Sarah Marie was celebrating her smiling-daughter's 1st birthday. Jeff traveled from Oakland, California to Las Vegas, Nevada and delivered a birthday present for someone that couldn't attend.

Rosio was on her way from San Francisco, California to Bali, Indonesia but she had a 16 hour stop over in Manila, Philippines. So she took the opportunity to carry and deliver a Mahalio package from San Francisco to Tita Zita in Manila. Tita Zita gave her a tour of Manila and introduced Rosio to Filipino cuisine. And Rosio was paid for a successful delivery.

In late November 2017, Kai Wee traveled back to her home country of Singapore to visit friends and family. She carried and delivered a Mahalio package to someone on the other side of Singapore. She was paid for her successful delivery but she also visited a new part of Singapore that she had never seen before.

In June 2017, Mahalio traveler Justin traveled from San Francisco, USA to Manila, Philippines to visit family. He partly paid for his trip by successfully delivering Mahalio packages. He island-hopped throughout the Philippines archipelago, and carried and successfully delivered four packages. He traveled by jeepney, motorcycles, bus, bancas (boats), and foot.
