We need your assistance: With only 3 days of public voting left, (public voting closes on the 26 August 2024) we are still around 350 votes short of winning the public vote section of the competition. So, calling all my friends and followers! If just 10 % of you would please support us and go vote for our song, we can win this thing! How about that, do we have your support?

The song is about a rather angry and disappointed woman, who has been let down by her partner, in the love department. She feels she should have read the signs that he'd been messing her around. She even blames herself for not seeing the signs at first.

As a sound engineer, listening to music on radio many of these mixes are like vocals on top, drums and bass in a mushpit at the bottom and a whole load of chggchggchgg in the middle. Is that a keyboard? Guitar? No freaking cooking clue! It irks the marrow out my bones! Oh, and the whole lot is overall and individually over compressed. Ouch! Dynamics gone!

I prefer hearing every instrument, in context, in the mix. Loads of dynamics, minimal compression.

Another thing that drives me dilly. Why, but why would one want to mix or master to a so called reference mix! Listening to some other dude‘s mix/master and copying it! Why? We record original music then to copy a mix/master? No!

Prior to the digital era, engineers used their, their customer, and their audience ears! No reference tracks anywhere. Here, in my studio, this is what we do. Use our ears!

Rant over. If you are a muso, looking for an engineer to take your song and production to the next level, please give me a shout. I’ll gladly work with you to get your song perfect!

Oh, as a last point… I can track perfect lead and rhythm guitars for your track as well!

Digital distribution? No problem!
Website/EPK/Artwork? No problem!
