Womb to Tomb Development Centre

Womb to Tomb Development Centre This organisation has strong links with the George East Ministers Fraternal, the schools, and the greater community.

Womb to Tomb is funded by donations, and also presently contracted to do a programme for The Dept of Public Works and Transport and Independent Development Trust. Womb to Tomb provide work opportunities to unemployed women and youth. These beneficiaries work in social projects of the community. "We want to raise the standard within our community". Womb to Tomb wants to lift the whole community and help the people to live a better life.

The below two programmes for young men and young women is a partnership between Locomotion and Womb to Tomb Development Centre. ONE FRIDAY PER MONTH the group will meet at the church (in different venues) at 17h00. The programme ends at 18h00. They will enjoy supper together and proceed directly to youth at 19h00. Wednesdays, there are optional sessions to help them. ONCE A MONTH, the group will be doing recreational activities which include, swimming, surfing, hiking and other fun activities. Only 15 young people can be accommodated for 2026.

Today our kids could be tourists in their own town. They had never been to the museum before. There was so much joy and excitement for this experience. We ended the excursion with an ice cream at McDonalds. The smiles made the trip so worthwhile and fulfilling.
