𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 : Augmente le rendement de la carcasse et la surface de la noix de faux-filet.

𝐕ê𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 : Contrairement à d'autres mutations (ex: Q204X), le F94L ne cause pas de dystocie (problèmes de vêlage).

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭é : Il peut être associé à une diminution du persillé (marbling) dans la viande.

𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 : Il offre un bon compromis pour améliorer la conformation bouchère (type viande) sans pénaliser la reproduction, ce qui le rend très populaire en croisement.

Le 𝐆è𝐧𝐞 𝐅𝟗𝟒𝐋 (aussi appelé Mh Beef) est une mutation du gène de la myostatine, principalement étudiée chez les bovins de race Limousine et Charolaise. Elle augmente la masse musculaire (+10% de rendement en viande) 𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐬 provoquer l'hypertrophie extrême ou les problèmes de vêlage liés aux autres mutations du gène culard. C'est une mutation hétérozygote ou homozygote recherchée pour la qualité de la viande.

We are soon welcoming into our nucleus Limousin herd 𝑫𝑨𝑳𝑳𝑨𝑺, a full-flanked and wide-based bull sired by none other than the renowned 𝑳𝑹1887 𝒁𝑰𝑷𝑷𝑶 whose influence has been remarkable in the breed over the past five years. 𝑫𝑨𝑳𝑳𝑨𝑺' dam is also a full sister to 𝑳𝑹1832 𝒁𝑬𝑻𝑯𝑨, and has been used extensively by LaRhone in their embryo program.

We are excited to lay the foundation for our program on such an exceptional individual.

La Note d’État Corporel (NEC) est un outil d'évaluation, visuel et tactile, de la masse adipeuse (graisse) d'un animal (chevaux, vaches, ovins). Elle mesure le niveau de réserves corporelles pour ajuster l'alimentation, garantir la santé, et anticiper les besoins énergétiques. La note optimale se situe généralement autour de 3 sur une échelle de 1 à 5.
