The national flower is distinct in it’s kind portraying a cluster of flowers in its centre, which are then surrounded by the striking coloured petals that resemble a flawless pink creamy crown. All ProteaPod’s thrive within the dry hot summers and wet, cold winters of this cultural habitat and results in this South African national flower growing in its truest colour and form. Alta and Carl Ziervogel, owners of ProteaPod is currently managing the twenty one (21) hectare farm and proudly distributes the renowned King Protea and his baby brother, the Suikerbossie within the Mpumalanga region.
