Two-night break finished ☀️

The first night we popped to Sam's Bar enjoying a pint of cider and pizza 🍕🍺, and yesterday we strolled around the peaceful fishing lakes.

A nice couple of days at Blackland Lakes, beautiful scenery, and plenty of time to relax including back to basics yesterday

The backup generators failed. No electricity. No WiFi. No charging phones.

And honestly... it was one of the best days we've had in a long time.

The day started with a proper bacon butty and a brew, followed by hours spent soaking up the countryside, slowing down and appreciating the simple things that we often overlook.

With no power on site, there was no choice but to get back to basics. No endless scrolling. No notifications. Just real conversations, fresh air, and quality time with good people.

We fired up the Cadac and cooked some incredible steaks before finishing the evening with a few games of cards and plenty of laughs.

Funny how losing electricity reminded us what really powers us.

Who else thinks we spend too much time connected to devices and not enough time connected to each other?

The countdown is over, and it's finally time to hit the road! 🏕️

This weekend marks our first trip away with the caravan's new self-levelling system, and we're excited to put it to the test. No more messing around just park up, level up, and start enjoying the adventure! 🙌

Here's hoping for smooth setup, great views, and plenty of memorable moments along the way. Stay tuned for updates as we see how the self-levelling performs in the real world.

At this point, rain seems to always be part of the handover package for us! 🌧️🚐😂

Looking forward to giving everything a proper test next weekend on our 2-night getaway. Fingers crossed for better weather! 🤞☀️🍻🏕️

Excited is an understatement! 🚐✨

Tomorrow afternoon we finally get to collect the caravan with its self-levelling system fitted and ready to go.🥳

A huge shout-out to for being so accommodating with our appointment times. It hasn't been the simplest journey, with delays in getting the kit, finding new fitting slot, but we've got there in the end!🤗

A thank you as well to E&P Hydraulics UK & Worldwide for their support to Tourer Techs, hand delivering kit to depot.

We're really looking forward to seeing it in action and then putting it to the test next weekend when we're away. 🙌 Now the countdown is on to getting out and enjoying it!
