Japan has set an example with their blue bags and kind post-game ritual!

And others are following the lead and showing we can all make a difference. Some Congo fans brought trash bags and started picking up trash around the stadium.

As the games go on, imagine this becoming a post-game ritual, no matter the country!

The 2026 FIFA World Cup has been filled with so many beautiful moments and I can’t wait to see what else happens because we’re just getting started.

To just see the World Cup in person was fr enough. To watch how Congo made their presence known across the world was something else entirely!

To be in Visit Houston for history like this… wow!! Even with the game over, that energy around Houston with all the people who flew in is going to worth being in Houston for!

My health has stolen so much from me.

BUT NOT THIS!!!!

Last year, when I got sick, I watched my World Cup dreams fade. I had spent years planning for this, but suddenly had no capacity. I barely worked for months, lost a lot of my savings, and the thing I had been so excited for seemed like it was impossible.

But when the World Cup arrived, I decided to make the best of it. Even without tickets, being in the city with fans from all over the world has been pure bliss.

Then I found out I’d be attending a game…

And I cried. This was a dream I thought was gone.

For anyone whose health, body, grief, or circumstances have stolen pieces of life from them, I see you. Not every dream comes back quickly. Some don’t come back the same way at all.

But joy is still allowed to find you.

And while I wish I could hand everyone a ticket, I’ve been sharing the best resources I can for last-minute tickets, cheaper options, and fan moments that still make this World Cup unforgettable. Just getting to host cities like is pure fire!!!
