The Mane Line Transport Team had a double vet visit day yesterday …
One was expected. The other… not so much.
The horses were taken in for their routine check up. Pedro has a wound on his leg we are diligently trying to heal. Other than that they both passed with flying colors.
Arlo, however, apparently woke up and chose chaos. 🤦♀️ Somehow our four legged troublemaker managed to get a pretty sizeable gash down the center of his chest, down his leg, and split his ear in half which earned himself an unexpected trip to the vet.
So, naturally, we ended up with TWO vet visits in one day and a bill that made us question every life decision that led us here. 💸
Running a small business isn’t always glamorous. Sometimes it’s hauling horses, answering messages, making plans, and trying to build something you love… while simultaneously wondering how on earth you’re going to pay the next unexpected expense. 😂
But through all of it, we keep going. We keep showing up. And we keep taking care of our animals, because they’re family first.
