Sure, you’re on vacation — you want the “best restaurants,” the Instagram spots, the fancy cocktails… we get it. But hey, don’t forget the REAL treasure of Vallarta: street food.

Yes, some of you might be a little scared about the “sanitary situation” (we see you 👀😂), but trust us — this is where the true local flavor lives.

Pull up a plastic chair, sit on the street, and enjoy:
🔥 Tacos
🥣 Birria
🌶️ Homemade salsas (careful… but also not too careful 😏)
🥤 Fresh juices
🍢 Little snacks you won’t find on any restaurant menu

This is what the locals eat every day. It’s safe, it’s delicious, and it’s part of the real Mexico experience.

Just wander around Centro, explore some back streets, look for where the people are lined up — that’s your sign! And don’t be that person who came to Mexico just to eat waffles and sandwiches. Come on… be adventurous! 🤣🌶️

I finally stayed at El Mirador de la Cruz after sunset — and wow, what an experience! Watching the city lights come on as the sky gets dark is just as magical as the sunset itself. ✨

It’s about a 20-minute hike from the bottom to the top. Bring some water with you — though there is a lovely lady selling water halfway up if you need it. 💧

If you’re in Puerto Vallarta and you’re up for a bit of exercise with an incredible reward, spend an evening up there. The views are stunning and totally worth the climb. 💙

🌴 Discover La Isla Mall – A Modern Tropical Escape in Puerto Vallarta 🦋✨

One of my favorite places to wander in Puerto Vallarta is La Isla Mall, located right by Holly Beach in the Hotel Zone. It brings a beautiful modern touch to our tropical paradise — clean, well-organized, and full of charm.

What makes La Isla so special?
🌺 Lush tropical plants everywhere
🛶 A peaceful man-made canal that feels like a little piece of Venice
🐠 Fish and turtles swimming below the walkways
🎥 A movie theater for a relaxing break (english speaking movies are available)
🛍️ Beautiful shops and cafés where you can sit in the shade, sip a coffee, and enjoy the breeze

And something that amazes me even more — a new aquarium is being built right here, attracting visitors from all over the world and locals who love to explore.

If you’re visiting Puerto Vallarta and want a lovely shopping, dining, or relaxing experience, take a walk through La Isla Mall. Afterward, head straight to Holly Beach — there’s easy beach access right next to the mall by the bridge/ (rio) river pitilla. Stay for the sunset, and if you’re lucky, you might even catch a baby sea turtle release right by the shore. 🌅🐢💛

🌺 Vallarta Vibes 🌴✨
Living in the tropics is truly a blessing… and every day in Puerto Vallarta reminds me of that. One of the little things that always steals my heart is the Bougainvillea — those bright, colorful flowers that seem to bloom everywhere you go.

When they climb along the walls, gently touching a palm tree or framing a coconut tree with the blue sky behind… wow. 💜💖💗 It’s like nature is painting a new picture for us every morning.

Here in Vallarta, you don’t even have to look for beauty — just take a slow walk anywhere, and it finds you. 🌿
Walk slowly… don’t rush… let the colors, the flowers, the tropical plants remind you to breathe, to enjoy, to be present.

That’s the life. That’s the energy.
That’s the Vallarta vibe. 🏖️💫

🌅 Morning Ride at the Marina

This morning I took my skateboard and rolled through the marina — seeing it from a different view. The air was calm, the sea was quiet, and the Day of the Dead statues were still standing proudly along the walkway.

People were out walking their dogs, some enjoying their breakfast by the water, and the shops were slowly opening. It’s such a peaceful and charming neighborhood to start the day.

If you’re visiting Vallarta, come by the marina — take a walk, grab some breakfast, or simply enjoy the view. Every Thursday evening, there’s a lovely marina market with local crafts and food.

The marina is truly one of the most peaceful spots for living, hanging out, or just enjoying a slow morning by the sea.

🚢✨ This morning when I passed by the marina, I couldn’t believe my eyes — not one, not two, but three cruise ships were docked in Puerto Vallarta! I got so excited that I had to stop and take a picture 😍

It’s actually my first time seeing three cruise ships here at once, and it made me realize how vibrant this season is going to be. 🌴☀️

In November, Puerto Vallarta will welcome 22 cruise ships in total — bringing travelers from all over the world to discover the beauty, culture, and warmth of this incredible city and of Mexico 🇲🇽💙
