A STORY OF SUBSTITUTION AND ATONEMENT
Jesus bore our burdens so we don't have to carry them.

The cross was a symbol of shame, sin, and the curse of death. Yet, Jesus willingly took it upon Himself, carrying the full weight of our iniquities to Calvary. This act was the ultimate demonstration of His love and sacrifice.

1 Peter 2:24 (KJV): "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."

Because of His sacrifice, we are freed from the burden of sin and given the gift of new life. We no longer have to carry our cross of sin, because He carried it for us.
