Third one of the day was a custom horse box conversion which had some chassis alterations to fit the new body along with a full drop ramp.

Unfortunately these alterations removed the towbar fixing points, our fitter consulted the customer and explained options.

The customer agreed for us to make a template of the fixing pattern transfer to the chassis, add the required holes and add the necessary load spreading plates.

Most would walk away from a job like this, 45 minutes later and the customer was happy with the outcome. Without this modification the required towbar would be almost impossible.

As the towbar is closer to the rear axle than designed there is no extra forces to the chassis actually less due to the pivot point for nose weight being shorter.

All our work is fitted & supplied with warranty. Custom fabrication of towbar assemblies for HGV vehicles can be made in house.

3rd Trailer Stripped & Quoted For Repair Today.

Customer Purchased From Spain 6 Years Ago.

Complained That The Brakes Were Sticking On. Upon A Brief Discussion It Was Mentioned That No Service Or Maintenance Had Been Carried Out.

Customer Was Quoted And Mentioned That He Was Going To Take The Spare Wheel To Get A Tyre Fitted Completely Unaware That We Also Offer That On Site Too....

Needless To Say We Got That Job Too.

Trailer bed jigged straight avoiding the use of heat which would damage the galvanised coating.

New A Frame, Hitch, Etc to complete the rebuild. Everything forward of the bed replaced.
