Thorny Flat Mountain Boys The Thorny Flat Mountain Boys is band from WV started in 2014 by Gregory Dean Moore and D.W. West to do a mountain,folk,bluegrass,with tradition mixed in.

The Thorny Flat Mountain Boys technically was discovered in 2013 when D.W. West reconnected with his old friend Gregory Dean Moore. They decided to put a group together called the Thorny Flat Mountain Boys and have since played at Snowshoe Mountain Resort, The Line Bar, The Junction, and other area places!!!! We won’t play until the Racism stops. I know we haven’t been too active in the last year and half, however there were a few special events in the works. Not now. Not until the racism stops!

Until further notice the Thorny Flat Mountain Boys have went from being on hiatus to ceasing all operations until the racism stops.
