🤠✨ Texas in one unforgettable weekend…

From the Fort Worth Stockyards cattle drive to the Cowgirl Rodeo, wandering the charming silos at Magnolia Market in Waco, chasing the best BBQ in Austin, standing where history happened at The Alamo, strolling the glowing San Antonio River Walk, and ending the trip at the San Antonio Rodeo…

Oh — and of course we made the mandatory stop at Buc-ee’s (because no Texas road trip is complete without Beaver Nuggets 🦫).

Fun fact: Texas is so big you could drive 12+ hours and still be in Texas. This weekend proved it — and every mile was worth it.

Between 1866 and 1890, Texas cowboys drove more than four million head of cattle up the Chisholm Trail through Fort Worth to meatpacking houses in Oklahoma. For that reason, the city came to be known as “Cowtown” and eventually became home to the largest stockyards and processing operation in the West.

* It's home to the world’s only twice-daily cattle drive in the historic Stockyards National Historic District.
* Is one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S.
* Known as the "Museum Capital of the Southwest" it features the renowned Kimbell Art Museum and is home to the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.
* Nicknames: Beyond "Cowtown" it is called "Panther City" (dating back to a 19th-century joke)"Funkytown" and "The Queen City of the Prairie".
* Fort Worth is a major hub for defense manufacturing (including B-24 bombers in WWII and F-35s today) and lies within the Barnett Shale, containing over 1,000 natural gas wells.
* The Bass Performance Hall is a major downtown landmark, while the city's roots are tied to the Chisholm Trail.
* Bonnie and Clyde notoriously hid out in the historic Stockyards
