We are proud to share that our former CEO and current Board Chairman, Bruce Bader, was recently honored as one of the Markel Style Award recipients at the 2025 Markel Shareholders meeting. This award was presented to Bruce recognizing decades of his outstanding leadership, innovation, and the amazing impact he had, not only for Havco, but in the trucking industry.

Throughout Bruce’s remarkable tenure, he led with vision, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Under his leadership, Havco developed products and processes that ensured Havco remained the industry leader in truck flooring manufacturing in North America, laying the strong foundation we continue to build on today.

This award celebrates not only his professional accomplishments, but also the legacy of mentorship, service, and bold thinking that continues to shape our company culture.

Thank you for feeding hope: Volunteering at SEMO Food Bank
Thursday, April 10th a group of our dedicated volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got to work at the SEMO Food Bank. Their mission? To help sort, pack, and distribute food to seniors in need—and to bring a little more kindness into the world. Volunteering at the food bank is more than just filling boxes. It’s about connection—connecting with our neighbors, with our community, and with a cause that truly makes a difference.

Food insecurity affects millions of Americans, and food banks serve as a crucial lifeline. By donating your time, you’re helping to ensure that children, seniors, and working families don’t have to worry where their next meal is coming from.
Want to get involved? The food bank is always looking for volunteers—whether it’s for a few hours on a weekend or on a regular basis. At Havco, we believe it is an opportunity to make a tangible impact and be part of something meaningful.

Congratulations Kevin Raines on your upcoming retirement!

Kevin has spent over 42 years at Havco! Kevin started out in the wood scrapping area and eventually moved over to Maintenance.

Kevin plans to spend his days raising livestock and doing some fishing! We wish you the happiest retirement, Kevin. We appreciate your dedicated service with Havco.

Craig Wierstema, President & COO, of Havco, had an opportunity to present at the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce First Friday Coffee during their Manufacturing Day. A lot of discussion around the economic impact and how we can support local businesses within our operations. In addition, what the future looks like and the challenges we face in manufacturing. We have the BEST team and look forward to growing together.
