Chase is on a roll this week, long story below:

TL;dr - Chasepay is going to giving away $25 in free food through the Chase Pay app, until the 30th, but you have to look for it.

Story:
So yesterday, Chase Pay ran a deal where you got $25 in FREE food at any restaurant on the Chase pay app. Why? It was the 1 year anniversary for the app.

I didn't post it here because it was a nightmare, I spent about 30 mins trying to get it to work (the app got overwhelmed by all the traffic). Luckily, I got it to work. Score!

My wife and I smuggly rolled up to Olive Garden (I know - FANCY!😉) expecting our $25 each in food. Problem was, the payment failed. Nothing OG could do.

We were bummed. I called the CSR line to ask, and they put me through to the online team (usually you NEVER call, it kills deals, but this wasn't an insider secret). After some back and forth the rep confirmed they were getting slammed and couldn't keep up. He said the offer will extended until the 30th!

So keep your eyes open on your Chase pay app. It'll be under your "order button" . Select a restaurant, and look at the offers. It SHOULD be there. ❤✌

We talk a lot about credit cards, and sign-up bonuses in this group, but something else that we do a ton of is banking sign-up bonuses. Because of the type of business we own, and the usual requirements to get this bonus (direct deposit) we've been doing this less often, lately.

However, there is money to be made here, we used to average about $1000 each a year.

All that said, our local US Bank is offering an easy one that we'll be taking advantage of. $75 for opening a new account, and spending $75 on your new debit card within 30 days. This is a YMMV situation, but worth a shot. Easy peasy $75!

Easy way to meet a MSR, or earn some easy miles.

Acorns is now selling gift cards without fees. The cards are only redeemable into an Acorns account. These can be purchased with Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

My Experience:
I've used Acorns in the past, they charge $1/month in fees, but you can use a referral to get $10 for free. No withdraw fee.

Sounds like the maximum is $25 per gift card, and 9 at a time, so $225 per transaction.

Not sure how long this will last. I'll be buying $225, minimum.
