In addition to t
he grading of the record and sleeve, we also give a small description of the overall condition of the vinyl record, sleeve, OBI, and any other items that may accompany the records, such as; liner notes, posters, or tour stickers.
The description looks like this:

OBI: The OBI is a paper ribbon that wraps around the record and contains information about the artist and album. Considered by many collectors to be of significant value for the overall record and sleeve. This is graded similarly to the album cover.
EXTRA: This is a note about the liner inserts, lyric sheets, posters, tour stickers, or any other interesting things included with the record and its cover sleeve.
All records and cover sleeves are cleaned before being graded. In some cases, a record that is graded lower can benefit from further cleaning with an ultrasonic record cleaner often stepping the grading up a whole grade step.
In some cases, the record may produce static during storage and shipping. It is strongly advised to use an anti-static brush once you have received your record to ensure proper playback results without unwanted static and surface noise resulting from dust particles settling in the grooves due to shipping and handling.
