Sent "the boys" out together for spring break. Little man did not want to come home. He even wanted to sleep in the truck one of the nights they made it home. A boy and his dad - what a beautiful thing.

Thankful today for the opportunities that this business is giving us. It was only after we got our own authority that the littlest member of the Black Oak family was able to ride along. After the phone call last night that school has been canceled for today, the choice of what to do was easy. Another Dad-and-his-son day is going in the books.

The Daddy/Son on the road week was a success. The boys had a great time together, and watching/listening to the little guy tell me about it while he finished his journals was pretty awesome. I learned that quonset huts are weird looking buildings. :) Love the way that a 5 year old thinks and sees the world!
