Fact of the Day: Fairfield was founded in 1856 by Clipper Ship Captain Robert Waterman and named after his hometown of Fairfield, Connecticut. It is located halfway between Sacramento and San Francisco (also known as - City by the Bay) and close to the wonderful Napa Valley!! It is also home to a great vintage furniture store Pieces of Time where we made a pick up of a wonderful piece of furniture (an antique footboard and headboard with a bench seat) for delivery in Los Angeles! More to come.....

Interesting fact of the day: The Dream Center, formerly the Queen of Angels Hospital (founded in 1926) is an impressive 14 story building, located on 8.8 acres just two miles from downtown Los Angeles.
The DREAM CENTER Founded in 1994 is a volunteer driven organization that finds and fills the needs of over 50,000 individuals and families each month.

They do this through mobile hunger relief and medical programs, residential rehabilitation programs for teens and adults, a shelter for victims of human trafficking, transitional housing for homeless families, foster care intervention programs, job skills training, life skills, counseling, basic education, Bible studies and more.

Founded in 1994, The Dream Center is a volunteer driven organization that finds and fills the needs of over 50,000 individuals and families each month.
