A few unforgettable weeks in New Zealand 🇳🇿✨

We started on the South Island, cruising through breathtaking sounds, surrounded by dramatic landscapes and the coziest little towns. It felt like something out of a dream.

The last 10 days on the North Island have been just as incredible — first by cruise, then by car. We’ve explored Auckland, Rotorua, Taupo, Wellington, and Northwood, had a lovely lunch with Daniel outside Napier, and experienced Hobbiton (truly magical — a must if you’re ever here!).

Now we’ve made our way back to Auckland, and it’s time to head home to Norway. Four flights, 52 hours of travel ahead of us… 😅✈️

Thank you, New Zealand — it’s been amazing. Bye bye for now😊

Shoutout to Hertz Car Rental for making our trip even better! 🙌
We needed to extend our rental by an extra day so we could make it out to Hobbiton Movie Set on Friday, and they made the whole process incredibly easy and stress-free.

Thank you so much for the amazing service – truly appreciated! 🚗✨

Sydney er ute. Fantastisk by.

Five unforgettable days in Sydney 🇦🇺✨It’s hard to put into words what these past five days have truly meant to us. Sydney has been one of those places you ...

Terje being Terje… 😄
If there’s something interesting nearby, you can bet he’ll climb over a fence and sneak through a bush to get a closer look.

Today was no exception — all to check out some bubbling, boiling mud in Rotorua. Worth it? Definitely. Smooth? Not quite.

Somewhere in the bushes, his sunglasses made a dramatic exit. So back he went, retracing his steps like a true explorer… and luckily, he found them again 🙌

All’s well that ends well — even after a little adventure off the beaten path 🌿

Rotorua feels unreal 🤯🌋
Steam rising from the الأرض, bubbling mud pools, and hot springs everywhere – like stepping onto another planet.

We visited a village with one of the longest names in the world (!!), where life is still deeply connected to the land – cooking food using the natural hot springs and bathing in them like it’s the most normal thing ever.

This isn’t just a “cultural show” – it’s real, living Māori culture. Powerful, beautiful, and impossible not to be amazed by. This place hits different 🔥

Her er vår reise fra Brisbane til Sydney. En blandet opplevelse 😅

After 34 unforgettable days, our journey through Australia has come to an end 🇦🇺✨

What an adventure it has been — from Perth, Adelaide, Alice Springs, Darwin, Cairns, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour, Sydney, Eden, Tasmania, and Melbourne — we are leaving with hearts full of gratitude, amazing memories, and so many beautiful experiences.

Thank you, Australia, for everything. Thank you for the places, the people, the moments, and the memories we will carry with us forever.

That’s a wrap for us — thank you for an incredible journey ❤️

War in Iran, free tram

Because of the difficult and frustrating times people are facing right now, Melbourne (actually in the entire Victoria)has made all public transport free for one month. 🚋

With rising fuel prices and growing pressure on everyday life, the city is giving residents a small but meaningful relief by making trams, trains, and buses free throughout April.

It won’t solve everything, but it’s a real step to make daily life a little easier for the people who need it most.

Sometimes the best response in hard times is simple: make life more affordable, reduce stress, and help people get where they need to go. 💛
