Are you an organised, proactive individual with experience in transport planning or working within a Busy Transport Office? We are a family-run haulage company with over 25 years in business, we’re looking for a Transport Planner to join our friendly, hard-working team.

Key Responsibilities/Job Description:
▪️ Plan and schedule daily transport routes for a busy fleet
▪️ Support and communicate with drivers throughout the day
▪️ Ensure customers are kept informed and updated regarding deliveries and any issues
▪️ Monitor and manage changes or delays, finding practical solutions quickly
▪️ Maintain knowledge of driver hours regulations and ensure compliance
▪️ Use your excellent geographical knowledge to plan efficient routes
Complete and maintain accurate records and paperwork
What We’re Looking For:
▪️ Previous experience in a transport planning or logistics role is highly advantageous
▪️ Excellent knowledge of UK geography and road networks
▪️ Good understanding of driver hours and transport compliance
▪️ Strong communication and organisational skills
▪️ Calm under pressure, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
▪️ A flexible, can-do attitude and a keen eye for detail
Working Hours & Benefits:
🕰️ Monday to Friday, 7:15 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible)
💷 Overtime structure in place
🏖️ 28 days paid holiday per year (including bank holidays)
💰 Competitive hourly pay based on experience

Statement Regarding a Historical Social Media Post

We are aware that a historical social media post is currently being circulated online by a page called Cheshire Dingerz. The post relates to a former employee and a deeply upsetting incident that took place over three years ago.

We want to make it absolutely clear that this incident is not recent. At the time, it caused significant distress to us as a family-run business, and the individual involved no longer has any association with our company. The matter was dealt with immediately and appropriately by both ourselves and the relevant authorities.

The views and actions of that individual do not reflect our values or those of our team. We kindly ask that if you come across this post being shared again, please do not engage with or share it further.

This situation is a stark reminder of the power of social media and the long-lasting effects it can have on innocent parties. We genuinely appreciate the ongoing support and understanding of our customers and community.

Accolade was proud to lend a helping hand this week to the Rotary Club for their 2025 "Wrap Up" Project — an incredible initiative which the Rotary organise each year.
It was a pleasure to be part of such a meaningful cause and to meet some of the lovely Ladies & Gents who volunteer and give up their time to support many different projects across the Country all year round.
We're grateful for the opportunity to contribute and collaborate with such a dedicated organization, and we're already looking forward to getting involved with more inspiring projects like this in the future.

Yesterday (26.08.24) marked 25 years since Accolade Logistics carried out our very first job...... a van job to Belgium and a real family affair it was too as our MD (Gary) made the journey with his son (Gary Jnr) and his wife (Jacqui). To look back and see how far our little family business has come in those 25 years (through the ups & the downs) whilst keeping those core family values and customer focused attitude is something we are so very proud of. 🚚 🚛
