We now live in a tiny cabin on 50+ acres with other family members. We travel in our 40ft Tiffin Motorhome about 6 months a year.

No one warns you that when you get a Great Pyrenees, you are also signing a lifetime contract with a 100+ pound doorstop.

Bathroom door? Blocked.
Front door? Blocked.
Kitchen entrance? Absolutely blocked.

They don’t lie next to the doorway. Oh no. They position themselves directly in the center like a fluffy security barricade. And when you say, “Excuse me,” they lift their head half an inch… blink slowly… and somehow become even heavier.

You try to step over them. Risky.
You try to gently push them. Impossible.
You try to squeeze past. That tail will take you out.

And the dramatic sigh they give when you finally make them move? As if you’ve deeply inconvenienced royalty. Like you disturbed their very important schedule of supervising floor tiles.

But five minutes later, they follow you… and lie down in the next doorway. Because clearly your house was designed specifically for them to guard every single entrance at once 😌🐾
