ChangeHampton's Community Pollinator Garden at East Hampton, NY Town Hall, a public-private partnership between ChangeHampton and the Town of East Hampton. We started with 4000 sq. ft. of mostly tree-less turf lawn. Designed by Abby Lawless, with donations of 8 native trees from Whitmores a local nursery, and striving for 70+% native plants (we have to use some non-natives to discourage a deer herd on the property!) Made possible with the support of a grant from Long Island Community Foundation and the JMKaplan Fund and many generous donors, and lots of community volunteers..
