1. I wouldn’t choose a restaurant just because it looks aesthetic because In vietnam, good food usually speaks for itself. If we have to compensate it good flashy decor and muti lingual menus, that’s not always a good sign.
2. I wouldn’t eat somewhere completely empty during peak hours. If locals aren’t there, there’s usually a reason.
3.I wouldn’t rely only on Google reviews. 4.7 stars might be from people who have really bad taste and 3.7 stars might have the msot banging food of your life
4. I wouldn’t ignore the simple, more rustic spots. Plastic stools, small open kitchens, short menus. That just means they care about food as their main priority, not how flashy their establishment is.
