If you've had a walk around Chicago or been to the Navy Pier on Lake Michigan nearby, you no doubt stumbled across this.
The Crown Fountain designed by Spanish Artist Jaume Plensa, a block of Glass and Led's with a water spout at the front. It cost $17 Million Dollars to make and was at first a contentious choice for a water feature. It was unveiled and soon became a crowd favourite. Plensa used 1000 local Chicagoans and had them sit in a redesigned dentists chair one afternoon whilst pulling funny faces, etc
