08:00 – 08:30: Pick up at your hotel in the Old Quarter area.
08:45: Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, where you can see one of the largest Bodhi trees in Vietnam.
09:30: Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex to see President Ho Chi Minh’s embalmed body, the Presidential Palace, and the place where he lived and worked. Continue to visit the One Pillar Pagoda.
Note: The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is open mornings only (except Mondays and Fridays) and is closed for maintenance from June 15th to August 15th annually. Please dress respectfully when visiting (long pants, covered shoulders, no shorts).
11:15: Explore the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, home to a vast collection representing the traditions and lifestyles of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups.
Note: On Mondays, the Ethnology Museum is closed, and the group will visit the Vietnam Women’s Museum instead.
12:30: Lunch at a local restaurant in the Old Quarter with a special Vietnamese menu.
13:45: Continue to visit the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam), the first national university of Vietnam and a symbol of the country’s long tradition of learning.
15:30: Visit Hoa Lo Prison, a historical site built by the French that once held many Vietnamese revolutionary leaders and American pilots.
16:00 – 16:30: End of the tour and drop-off at your hotel.
