a bad habit of ours is falling in love with everywhere we visit & saying the infamous words “could see ourselves living here”

chiang mai was no different, it felt sooo homely in the weirdest way? the perfect sized place with plenty to do, just enough chaos & a mix of city / nature 🌇

every night a different market, loads of thrifting (bloody backpack!!!) & insane roadtrips (pai for 3 days on a motorbike) 🏍️

I have a feeling we’ll be back…but for now, thank you for being the best intro to south east asia we could have wished for !!

turning 29 in thailand…🍰🐠⛵️🎈🥥🤍

…this feels SO special for SO many reasons. tuning 29 & celebrating 10 years together. finally in a place we’ve wanted to visit for so long.

a place I personally had bad memories from that I wanted to rewrite (a failed trip with a friend back in 2016) & a place that we’ve previously tried to visit together but never quite made it before covid sent us home !!

I woke up to sunshine, spent the day snorkelling (drowning/panicking) in crystal clear island waters, swam with turtles & returned to our hillside accommodation where the staff had decorated our room full of frangipanis 🌺

topped off with a slice of birthday cake from 7-eleven (when in thailand)…but yeah, just wanted to post in real time even though we’ve been abit quiet recently, because it’s been a day!

love & appreciate everyone so much & promise we’ll catch you up on our travels soon, we’ve just been busy living our best life 🤍

it’s only been 24hrs but we’ve been hit with culture, chaos, colour, new food & lots of new noises 🤣

if this is anything to go by, we can’t WAIT to see how the next 5 months are gonna unfold…
