Relax with your favorite vacation drink and book or simply take a much needed nap under our generously covered and breezy upper sky lounge with teak cocktail table. Champagne will never taste better than during your first sunset on Moondance in the BVI. The captain is all a part of the fun and has it made in the shade with generous seating within this upper covered lounging area. This forward cockpit incorporated within the fully shaded lounging area gives the captain and crew a perfect 360 view of the decks and turquoise water. This upper vantage point optimizes easy communication with crew which is especially helpful when hooking a mooring ball and anchoring. Captain has upgraded remote anchorage at helm station and easily controls the entire anchoring process. MOONDANCE is easily sailed with all lines leading to the electric winches at the helm. And boy does she like to sail! She handles the wind and waves beautifully!
Need a captain? No problem. HORIZON YACHT CHARTERS has well trained, enjoyable captains that will optimize your safety and enjoyment of your much needed vacation. The port forepeak is outfitted with a single bed for a crew member or overflow guest.
Just a few steps below and you will find dining and lounging is a breeze conveniently located right off the open galley through the large sliding glass doors. The upgraded, expanding teak table and vast seating feels like home with a fantastic view! The under counter, very cold drink fridge w/ freezer box and beverage bar with hot and cold fresh water sink is thoughtfully designed in this spacious outdoor gathering space. Doubles for overflow galley clean up.
Large cooler/ cushioned bench is perfect for chilling your favorite beverage also.
Once inside, you will see the expanse of galley that extends starboard to port with two deep oversized fridge drawers and a spacious under counter freezer that beckons you to go ahead and buy the ice cream! Finally a galley with plenty of countertops and cupboards that allows several to enjoy this experience together without cluttered countertops. Enjoy the fresh taste of the water you will easily make thanks to the filtration of the water maker on board. A third fridge/ freezer box is easily accessible on the port side below. Perfect for overflow.
You will have plenty of ice cold drinks thanks to the onboard ice maker.
The beautiful, well designed saloon has plenty of comfortable seating around the cocktail table that expands into a larger dining table. A Hydraulic lift lowers for a more relaxed, family room experience for drinks and appetizers. You will definitely appreciate the chill of the 2 air conditioning systems for this space alone. It’s the perfect place to come inside and cool down for a mid day nap.
And you will never miss a beat with the view! The large windows allow great viewing of the beauty all around.
Three of the four queen beds have lengthy exterior windows for taking in the view as well as nicely appointed en suite ( quiet electric)heads. For those who want extra quiet sleeping, there is an interior queen bed just off the port hall and across from the shared head. Each cabin controls its own air. The two en suite queens have their own closets, drawers and extra large drawer at the foot of the bed. Fans throughout the vessel provide extra flow as desired.
The spacious and luxurious starboard queen is the length of the entire starboard hull! You will so enjoy your own lounge area, desk and oversized bathroom that is similar to a luxury hotel. Get ready for a fun night out at one of the lengthy counters that is separated on either side of the large bathroom. You’ll also find an outlet that will accommodate hot tools. Your spacious bathing area with overhead cascading rain shower is a relaxing experience in itself.
Located throughout the suite are drawers, closets and cabinets for all of your belongings.
