HUNGER IS NOT A CRIME
Ride at Ease is a private driving service dedicated to all customer comfort and safety to and from their destination. With safety and comfort in mind for all , Ride at Ease strives to get all their customers to their destination on time and safely for a reasonable fee while they . Ride at Ease is committed to also giving back to the community by helping to stop hunger by giving twenty percent of all tips received to help feed the homeless.
The Ride at Ease project to help feed the homeless could be the start of something great happening for the community and not only for business. Even though it may not stop homelessness in the community, the aim is to ensure they can have at least a meal or two a day. As we know it today, the world has changed. When we come together to help each other out in this unpredictable time, we know one thing for certain if we have resourcefulness, compassion, and innovation, together our community can become better.
For December through February, any customer that wants to donate an additional tip towards feeding the homeless project can do so. In addition to the 20 percent tips received for the driving service, we will add an additional 10 percent of whatever tip that is donated to the program. With this program going on, we hope to feed a lot more people. There are an estimated 1,400 individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the Palm Beach area base (Rubin, M. 2022).
As a driving service we see homelessness every day as we go pass intersections, under bridges and though out the city. Though we may not be able to get people off the streets, we can very well ensure that they are able to eat. Hunger is not a crime, just a share of bad luck and with some help and working together we have hope for a better tomorrow.
