After a weekend running away to the Circus, Patriot and Scott had a good riding lesson with Kelley from Carpe Diem Training. Patriot had a bit of a spook when a bunch of birds burst out of the corner, so Jaxie (aka, Nibblettes) came out to provide moral support, but thought the lack of cookies was a real problem.

It came from our good friend and favorite Dance Teacher, Erin, who, along with her super cool boyfriend Matt, drove up all the way from Oconomowoc to watch us (and possibly the rest of the parade 😉). We are "enjoying" a Severe Thunderstorm this afternoon. Our sound meter (yes, we own a sound meter, we're retired Engineers after all 😉) peaked at 87db with rain on the barn roof. The thunder is above that.
