This month, ATA Moving and Storage Conference is proud to support Wreaths Across America's campaign, a national effort to honor our nation’s heroes. Our goal is to sponsor one full trailer load—approximately 4,500 veterans’ wreaths—that will be delivered to Arlington National Cemetery and placed on the final resting places of servicemembers this December.

On December 19, 2026 at 08:00 am (EST), ATA-MSC will join volunteers across the country to help Remember and Honor our veterans by laying wreaths at Arlington and cemeteries nationwide. Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring a wreath, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

As comes to a close, ATA-MSC is wrapping up the month with one final tip for a successful move: Consider liability options and valuation.

Know how much your goods are worth and make an informed choice of liability protections when booking your move. What you select will determine what the mover will be responsible for in case of loss or damage. Always take valuable documents and other items with you.

ATA-MSC is continuing its series with another helpful reminder for consumers preparing for a move: Avoid large down payments.

While some movers may ask for a small deposit to hold a date, any company who asks for large deposits or full payment upfront – especially in cash or through apps like Venmo or PayPal – should be avoided.
