This is called a "kitchen party." It's very closely related to what we would consider a bridal shower. All women. The elders speak to give marriage and family advice to the bride. Gifts are offered, mainly in the form of money and / or kitchen items for the couples new home together. All white attire. This was her mom's home. The mom makes her gand entance 1st. Then the daughter comes after.

I'm learning so much about the beautiful culture here in TanzanIa. Every day is filled with excitement from the newness of it all. This land and its people are so blessed! ✨️
