KAMEL is the first leather goods brand in North America to work exclusively with camel leather. It was built around a pursuit to handcraft leather goods that are unique, high quality, beautiful, and made with responsibly-sourced materials. It is tanned with a chrome-free process. Up to 80% of the water from this process is recycled and the waste is composted.

I sincerely thank all of you who are following my creative pursuit, .kamel. Thank you for the encouragement and support. I am humbled to be able to share what I create. I consider myself a maker and craftsperson, not a marketer. So I’m excited to reach the 2K mark. A small step, yes. But I believe that organic growth is good growth. This is a journey for me—from years of traversing deserts in Africa and the Middle East where I first encountered camels, to delving deeply into learning the details of leathercraft, and proudly using ethically-sourced camel leather that is sustainably tanned.
