Out trip to New Orleans, LA was spectacular. We walked around all night seeing all the old buildings and some that were even part of TV shows, like the house from The Originals.
Towards the evening we got a covered wagon tour around the city from a mule.

We had dinner at the in New Orleans, LA while we were there. This place had some of the best seafood we've ever had. It was amazing. Crawdads, snow crabs, clams, oysters, it was all simply amazing. If we had the funds we would eat there every night.

We stayed at the Bayou Vermilion District museum a few weeks ago while on our way to New Orleans. This historic town was like stepping back in to the past. We got to see so many cool building and structures, even ran into a cute little critter.

We visited the silos in Waco, TX. This place was beautiful. So many food trucks to choose from and a wonderful courtyard. They even film the show Silos Baking Competition there and were filling that day, we weren't allowed to record any of that.

We went to the Fort Worth Stock Yards today and had so much fun. Started the day off with breakfast at the Buscuit Bar Restaurant in the yards. Then we were able to catch some Drovers take a herd of Long Horn Steers through the streets. We wandered the shops for a bit after that. I definitely recommend checking this out of you're in the Forth Worth, TX area.

Went to a BBQ spot in Waco, TX called Vitek's. This place was amazing. Great food, great restaurant, definitely won't forget it. Their famous Gut Pack was adored by all. I got the pulled pork sandwich and kids got the ribs. Their Mac and Cheese was phenomenal as well.

This smelter was super cool. It's the largest copper mine in the world measuring at 2.75 miles wide and .75 miles deep. The stack catches 99.9% of sulfur making it the cleanest smelter in the world and it retains enough heat that it produces 60% of its own power.
