Twinco Flying Club was formed in the 1960s by a group of employees from IBM and Texico - nicknamed, b

Currently the club owns one IFR certified and maintained Cessna 172 aircraft and membership is limited to 25 members. It's based at Dutchess County Airport (KPOU) and meets as a club on the fourth Monday of the month at the pilot's lounge (yellow building) on the alpha ramp. Those wishing to attend a meeting should contact the President, Jeff Karn at 914-474-4404 or our Vice President for further information and directions.

A pilot with Basic Med will soon qualify as a safety pilot. It will take effect 30 days after the final rule is published in the Federal Register.

The FAA concurred with AOPA and individuals who supported a rulemaking proposal that enables pilots who medically qualify under BasicMed to act as required crewmembers other than pilot in command—more specifically as safety pilots.

Twinco's N737QC is in the avionics shop getting an upgrade to the panel. We are adding a Garmin GNC 355 GPS Unit while removing the old ADF and older Narko 12E number 2 radio unit.
