Final outcome. I stated in the video if we get some clear water on I will try to get some under water shots of the props mid-summer to see how they look. Otherwise we will see them in the fall when the boats hoisted out.

PropGlide application update. We coated the running gear today. Process was pretty straight forward and it went on pretty quick and easy. Only time will tell from here.

Huge shoutout to PropGlide USA Corp for working with us here at Wrenches and Waves Marine!

We reached out to their team to talk specifically about how their coating performs in freshwater applications — especially when it comes to fighting algae buildup, scum, and those stubborn zebra mussels that love to take over running gear. Not only did they take the time to answer our questions, they stepped up and sent us product to put to the test ourselves.

This spring, all of our running gear will be coated with PropGlide, and we’ll be documenting the entire process — from application to real-world performance on the water.
