🚨 BREAKING: Truck Slams Into Virginia Beach Shopping Center 🚨

A work truck hauling a trailer and Bobcat crashed into the side of the Sakura restaurant at Red Mill Commons, injuring two people and trapping the driver inside. The crash happened around 2:05 PM on Upton Drive in Virginia Beach.

🚑 Two were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries
🚒 Driver was trapped and later rescued by firefighters
🚓 Police are investigating the cause of the crash

📸 Photos show major damage inside the building.

GLENDALE, KY - Semi Crash with Fire I-65 North 83 mm. Glendale, Sonora and Elizabethtown Fire Departments responded to a semi collision with fire and possible entrapment near the 83 mile marker. Emergency personnel arrived and found that the patient had been rescued from the burning semi by motorist who witnessed the crash. Hardin County EMS provided on-scene care and transported the patient from the scene. The burning semi was hauling large packages of ketchup and mustard. The second semi was hauling liquid hydrogen. The tank was not ruptured in the crash. Kentucky State Police and Hardin County Emergency Management also responded to the crash. Doug's Towing recovered the vehicles.

Many truck drivers have learned about North Carolina’s new enforcement initiative the hard way — after being ticketed for resting on the side of the highway.

According to a report by The News & Observer, Gov. Pat McCrory initiated a crack down on sleeping truckers after a wealthy political donor urged the governor to put an end to “unsightly” semi trucks on the side of Interstate 77.

The fact that a majority of the citations are issued near his award-winning vineyard is merely a coincidence, he says.
