Move Green with McCombs
For every ton of new wood that grows, about 1.5 tons of CO2 are removed from the air and 1.07 tons of life-giving oxygen are produced.
For each move booked during March and April, McCombs will make a donation to the National Arbor Day Foundation Re-forestation project to help off set our carbon foot print.

Welcome to Tip #3 for Fall Yard Sales ...

Stick an ad in the newspaper. Put up a notice on Craigslist. Post
simple, effective signs around the neighborhood. It’s best to use big
bold text like “HUGE SALE” with an arrow pointing the right direction.

Get together with a few neighbors and have one HUGE sale. The more stuff the better the sale! And remember, the more stuff you can sell, the less to move later.

Welcome Fall! What a great time to sift through the things acquired over the summer and take a look at stuff we no longer need. Time for a yard sale! The weather is cool and the time is right to de-clutter!

Moving Tip: Did you know your moving expenses may be tax deductible?
To write off your relocation costs, a move must
be work-related. Then you have to pass time and distance tests (the 50 mile test) But as long as a move meets these requirements, it doesn't matter
if it's your first job, the same job or a new job. Remember to ask your tax adviser for the specifics.
