🇺🇸250 Years of America. 75 Years of Byers🇺🇸
This Independence Day carries special meaning for us.
As America celebrates 250 years of freedom, we celebrate the values that built this country—faith, family, hard work, resilience, and the willingness to answer the call when others need you. Those same values have been the foundation of Byers Wrecker Service for the past 75 years.
In 1951, Gene Byers started this company with a vision, an incredible work ethic, and a commitment to serving his community. Though Gene is no longer with us, the foundation he built continues to guide us every day. His legacy isn't measured by the trucks he owned or the miles they traveled—it's measured by the family, the company, and the reputation he left behind.
That legacy was carried forward by his son, Bill, whose dedication, leadership, and determination helped grow a small family business into the company it is today. Through decades of hard work and countless sacrifices, Bill honored his father's vision while building one of his own—ensuring that Byers would continue serving our community for generations to come.
Today, we're incredibly proud to have the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations working side by side, carrying that legacy forward with the same values this company was built on 75 years ago.
To our employees—thank you. Towing doesn't stop for holidays, weekends, or the worst weather Michigan can throw at us, and neither do you. Whether you're behind the wheel, answering the phones, working in the shop, or supporting the team behind the scenes, your dedication, professionalism, and grit are the reason we've been able to serve this community for three-quarters of a century. We are proud to have you as part of the Byers family.
As we celebrate our nation's 250th birthday and our company's 75th anniversary, we're reminded that freedom isn't free, strong families build strong businesses, and great legacies are earned one day at a time.
From our family to yours, thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and allowing us to serve this incredible community for the past 75 years.
Here's to the generations who built this country, the generations who built this company, and those who will carry both forward.
🦅God Bless America, and Happy Independence Day. 🇺🇸
