Our AP Signature Series line of caging is so unique we applied for and was granted a U.S. Patent (D1052189-S). This patent has been in effect since November 19, 2024. The unique design of the “floating top and bottom” is an extremely classy look and makes assembly much easier for the consumer and for our employees. This has also helped speed up our lead times.

It has been brought to our attention that a few other cage companies are beginning to try and recreate this design and look. Animal Plastics has invested a tremendous amount of time and resources creating this design and we intend to protect it.

We didn’t patent this design for financial gain, we patented it to protect our brand. Cage companies come and go, multiple ones each year. Unfortunately many try to mimic others established brand look cages, including ours. We will fight to protect the Animal Plastics AP Signature Series line of cages.

Animal Plastics, Inc, established in 2001 to produce quality caging at an affordable price. Going long, going strong.

We have made a huge dent in our lead times!! We are still a bit behind on custom orders but making huge strides.

Our commitment to the new building, another CNC machine, more staff has paid off.

Our patent pending Signature Series line of caging has taken off. We are very excited about this design. Expandable caging option will be available to this line very soon. Turn a 3’ cage into a 6’ cage and save $$ on shipping.

We have some extra cage parts laying around so look for a giveaway again soon.

To our awesome customers - we have a ton of emails we are trying to get to. If you have sent us an email we are trying very hard to get to it. We seem to be on the phone so much we can’t find the time in the day to get caught up on emails.

Along with the move, we are also trying to find more customer service representative to help with emails, orders, and phone calls.

Incredible how patient most of you are as we continue to battle the growth we have experienced.

Public Service Announcement.

As you cage begins to age, please inspect your top and bottom sliding glass door track to ensure that they are still nice and tight and adhered good to the cage. If it is loose, please contact us at 515-276-7387 or by email at [email protected] so that we can send you some new fasteners to tighten it back up again.

We found that we had a bad batch of adhesive tape that isn’t aging well. If your track has screws in it instead of adhesive you’ll just need to snug the screws up. If you don’t see any screws in the top track and it seems loose please reach out to us.
