“Miss Brenda Dae” and Vintage Yacht Cruises was both honored and STAR struck to have members of the “WE Fest 2012” headliner group, ALABAMA on board for a sweet afternoon of cruising, storytelling and just plain old relaxing. What a great time we had with family, friends and “new friends”, Megan, Chuck, Steve, Mark and Ed. Thanks again, ALABAMA for joining us and also for extending an invitation to the concert that evening. The show was over the top! You are an extremely talented group and we enjoyed ourselves to the max. It was a blast; we will never forget you and your kindness. Hopefully our paths will cross again someday. A big thank you goes to Patriot, Daniel Hanson from the Holiday Inn on the Lake for bringing America’s finest from Rhode Island’s Army National Guard Medic group on board Miss Brenda Dae. The medic group had recently returned from an overseas deployment and were bringing Blackhawk helicopters across country when they came through Detroit Lakes. These respectful young men graced our vintage yacht for a great afternoon of relaxing, visiting and even a little fishing. To show their appreciation, the group performed an exhibition the following morning, hovering along side Miss Brenda Dae, as a way of bidding their farewell. Management and staff of the Holiday Inn were on board during the maneuver to offer their good byes as well. We salute these great American heros and thank them for their service to our country.
